Hot Stone Massage

Description

Hot stone massage combines skilled hands with smooth, heated basalt and jade stones. The warmth melts through surface tension, letting your certified therapist work deeper with less effort and giving the whole treatment a profoundly comforting quality. It's our most requested treatment in the colder months for good reason.

Is this right for you?
Choose hot stone if you love heat: the clients who adore this treatment are the ones reaching for heating pads at home. It's ideal for chronic muscle tightness that responds to warmth, for stress that lives in your back and shoulders, and honestly, for treating yourself properly.

What to expect
Stones are warmed to a safe, carefully monitored temperature and used both as an extension of your therapist's hands and placed at rest points on the body. Your comfort sets the temperature; always say so if a stone feels too warm. Our St. Albert hot stone therapists are certified in the technique.

Common questions
Why does hot stone cost more than other massages? The stones, heating equipment, and extra setup time add to each session; the difference covers that added preparation.
Is hot stone massage safe for everyone? Most people can enjoy it, but heat isn't recommended with certain conditions, such as some cardiovascular issues, neuropathy, or pregnancy. Mention any conditions when booking and we'll guide you; prenatal clients can enjoy our prenatal massage instead.
